Avius 1

“Pure Image” realized by Ultra BE (Ultrasound Broadband Engine) developed by Hitachi using its advanced technologies.
The system architecture (front-end and back-end) and probes are all renewed to enable higher definition images than ever before.

Smart Application

Versatile applications support your examinations and diagnosis. Slim design is materialized based on the needs at the clinical sites. These are Smart Applications intended for performing examinations speedily and accurately.

The decisive factors of high image quality are the probe, an ultrasound sensor, and the digital signal processing circuit.
The circuits employed by [Avius] were totally renewed by collective efforts of the Hitachi group. Beautiful and clear images are pursued with a high-sensitivity broadband probe and Ultra BE (Ultrasound Broadband Engine).

Hi

 

The ultrasound beam is transmitted and received multi-directionally in real-time, and respective images are superimposed.
This process enables clear observation of lesions through the reduction of speckle noise and improvement of contrast resolution.

HdTH

 

Hitachi's broadband technologies have succeeded in widening harmonic signals to the limit and in visualizing even low-frequency combination harmonics. This improves resolution and sensitivity at depth.

 HI rez

The HI REZ function performs high-speed calculations to extract structures and to enhance tissues. This improves the contrast resolution and S/N.

Single

Avius 6

 

A single crystal is adopted as a piezoelectric element. In the ultrasound probe, the single crystal realizes higher sensitivity and broader band width than those of the piezoceramics.

real time

 

The function that visualizes the distortion of tissues in real-time and provides information of its stiffness. By using the Strain Graph, it is possible to monitor the status of compression in real-time.

 Avius 7strain

The condition of the strain is displayed graphically in real-time. After freezing the image, the frame can be selected while looking at the graph.

The high-frame-rate and high-definition color display function (Fine Flow) is incorporated.
It is possible to image microscopic blood flows with less blooming compared to normal color display.

 

 

 Avius 10contrast

The Avius can be used with not only the MTI (Microbubble Trace Imaging) that enhances the visibility of microscopic blood flow but also the alternate mode that displays a normal B-mode image and a contrasted image at the same time. Body motion correction in the MTI function further improves image quality.

The HI Zoom, which automatically sets the optimum scan parameters and enlarges images will improve both the resolution and frame rate.

The trapezoid display with a linear probe is now available. This widens the diagnostic field-of-view.

With the ultra BE, high quality images can be obtained not only in 2D but also in 4D.

 

 

 

 Avius 13M mode

The boundary recognition software reads the variation of brightness and navigates measurement points of M-mode.
Routine examinations can be obtained more efficiently by using this function together with ODM mode (Omni-directional M mode).

 

 Avius 14OMD

This function enables the display of the M mode from any arbitrary angle of the cursor as defined on the B mode image.
More accurate measurement of the left ventricular volume is supported.

 

 

 Avius 15IMT

The thickness of the intima media complex of the carotid artery is automatically measured.
In addition to the 3-point measurement, Max and mean IMT measurements are supported.

By registering image quality parameter settings for a particular patient in advance, multiple parameters can be switched instantly.

Since a USB port and DVD multi-drive are incorporated, images can be stored easily.
To prevent leakage of personal information, the patient name and ID can be masked for output.
